Topic: Backbutton and progress indicator

Hello

I'm happily using the backbutton plugin. As some content is time-consuming to product, i display a progress indicator,
like a simple animated gif turning wheel.
When i want to regenerate this content on the event of comeback through the back button, i would like to also
display this indicator.

So i wonder how i can call 2 xajax-enabled functions in the case of a back-button event :

1-Display the indicator

2-Process the request (do some time-consuming sql stuff), and display the result

I hope it's quite clear.
Thank you for any help

Greg

Re: Backbutton and progress indicator

gregoire,

Have a look at this link:

http://xajaxproject.org/wiki/Tutorials: … ng_Message

The loading/processing message does not use an XAJAX enabled function call but uses the XAJAX JS
engine.

Hope this helps. smile

If you ever stop learning you may as well dig a hole, crawl in and pull the top over yourself.

Re: Backbutton and progress indicator

Hello

Thanks a lot for the tip. I did not use at all callback functions before, but now i begin to understand..
I have implemented that, particularly on my waypoint_handler function, and it works pretty well.
It now shows the indicator in both ways of navigation.
